The Executive Leadership Council is committed to shining the spotlight on companies who are working to develop their diversity leadership pipeline. We are also proud to celebrate outstanding business achievements made by, and on behalf of, African Americans.
Three awards are presented at The Executive Leadership Council and The Executive Leadership Foundation's Annual Recognition Dinner each October. The awards honor the special business achievements of African-American corporate executives, entrepreneurs and academicians supporting inclusion in corporate America, as well as corporations whose policies and practices have welcomed African Americans and their contributions. These awards include the Alvaro L. Martins Heritage Award which celebrates outstanding contributors to the African-American business legacy; the Achievement Award which applaudsAfrican-American business achievement; and the Corporate Award which recognizes corporations actively promoting and pursuing their diversity leadership pipeline goals and objectives on behalf of African Americans.
In addition, companies who partner with the The Executive Leadership Council will have the opportunity to showcase their actions through our network of media partners. Partnering with the ELC “brand” represents a union with an organization devoted to fostering professional excellence. Media partners have included: Forbes, Fortune, The New York Times, The Network Journal, Minority Business News USA, and Black Enterprise. |
