From time to time, The Executive Leadership
Council forms strategic alliances with business and leadership
organizations that support the goals and objectives of Council
initiatives and programs.
Corporate Board Development
The Alliance for Board Diversity (ABD) is
an initiative with Catalyst and the Hispanic Association for
Corporate Responsibility to raise public awareness about issues
related to corporate board diversity and to increase the number of
women and minorities on corporate boards. ABD supports The
Council’s Corporate Board Development initiative
sponsored by Altria Group.
Council members participating in the initiative
also have the opportunity to attend the Kellogg School of
Management’s Minority Director Development Program.
Board and Wealth Development Opportunities
The Marathon Club is an alliance with the
National Association of Investment Companies and New America
Alliance to support the growth of America’s emerging domestic
markets and to recruit senior African American executives as board
members for private equity firms.
