ELF Developing Senior African American Corporate

Special Initiatives

Hurricane Katrina HBCU Relief from The Executive Leadership Council resulted in The Executive Leadership Foundation’s allocating $200,000 in funds to help relief efforts for those affected by the destruction of Hurricane Katrina. This initiative focused on the provision of strategic planning resources to Xavier University via support from the Deloitte Group and IBM.

Spirit of Health is a pilot program designed to raise public awareness and action on the issues of health and wellness within the African-American community. Merck supports this initiative by providing clinicians and medical experts to visit churches and hold health screenings and health information sessions on illnesses prevalent within the African-American community.
