Alfred W. Zollar

Al Zollar is a 28 year veteran IBM executive.  He became General Manager of Tivoli software, an IBM business unit, in July 2004.  He is responsible for the strategic direction and ongoing operations for the Tivoli software brand, which helps organizations  manage information technology (IT) resources, tasks and processes to meet ever-shifting business requirements, and deliver flexible and responsive IT service management. Tivoli's portfolio spans software for security, storage, performance and availability, configuration and operations, and IT lifecycle management.

Mr. Zollar holds an MA in Applied Mathematics from the University of California at San Diego. He is a board member of the Chubb Corporation and was named one of the 100 Most Influential Blacks in America by Savoy magazine in 2003, one of the 50 most important African Americans in technology by U.S. Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine in 2004, and one of the 75 most powerful African Americans in corporate America by Black Enterprise magazine in 2005.
