ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Priority will be given to candidates who fit the following criteria:

  1. Highest ranking African-American Executives in a Fortune 500 company or global equivalent
  2. Within three reporting levels of the Enterprise CEO
  3. New Member Companies (Industry mix)
  4. Females (Gender Representation)
  5. Operational/P&L responsibilities as opposed to Staff/Administrative
  6. Members West of Chicago (geographic mix)
  7. Meets specific budget requirements
  8. Ability and desire to support The Council’s mission and objectives

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Complete ELC membership application form (can be found on the Member Intranet or by calling  Jennifer Tambi at the ELC Office (703) 706-5267)
  2. Two recommendation letters from current ELC members
  3. Updated bio/resume
  4. Recent photograph.

Members who wish to recommend prospective candidates should submit a Member Nomination Form to the ELC office.
Upon receipt of these documents at the ELC office, the next steps are:

  1. Application review by Membership Selection Committee
  2. Interview and Recommendation by a Member of the Membership Selection Committee
  3. Final Approval by The Council Board of Directors
