Maurice Cox, Vice President of Corporate Development & Diversity,
Pepsi-Cola Company, is responsible for providing strategic guidance
on a range of workplace and marketplace diversity issues that impact
Pepsi-Cola’s employees and market performance. Pepsi-Cola considers
its performance in the area of diversity as a strategic anchor in
the competitive beverage business and Mr. Cox has led initiatives
that integrate diversity performance across business functions. Mr.
Cox has been with Pepsi-Cola for 25 years. Prior to joining
Pepsi-Cola, he was a journalist with the Greensboro (NC) Daily News
& Record and editor of Builders and Contractors Magazine.
Mr. Cox earned a BA in economics from the University of North
Carolina at Greensboro. He serves on the Corporate Advisory Board of
the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education
and the National Black MBA Association (Westchester/Connecticut), in
addition to being a trustee of The Caramoor Center for Music & the
Arts and a member of the Board of Visitors at the University of
North Carolina at Greensboro. |
