Susan E. Chapman currently serves as Global Head of Operations for Citi Realty Services (CRS).  In her role, she oversees CRS operations including strategy, global relationship management, mergers and acquisitions, retail branch development/expansion coordination, real estate administration, program management and MIS.  Recently her role expanded to include the global projects team, where she co-leads the environmental, green and procurement strategies for the real estate organization at Citi.

Prior to joining Citigroup, she served as Director, Global Real Estate and Global Procurement for Level 3 Communications, Inc.   In her role, she had responsibility for the management and strategic direction of Level 3’s real estate activity.  She also led the restructure and centralization of the company’s Procurement organization.  Prior to joining Level 3, Ms. Chapman held various roles in real estate investment banking, land use, economic and development consulting and planning.

In addition to her professional assignments, Ms. Chapman has spent a significant amount of time volunteering with non-profit community development organizations across the United States.  She serves on the board of the Brotherhood Sister Sol, the largest youth services organization in West Harlem and the Executive Leadership Foundation.  She remains an active mentor to young people in her community. 

Ms. Chapman was named the 2007 Distinguished Young Alumni by the University of Wisconsin Foundation.  She has been featured in several magazines, including Essence and Fortune.  She was also featured on the Steve Harvey Morning show in May 2007 on the Influential African American segment.  Additionally she was named to Black Enterprises “Hot List: Best and Brightest Under 40” in 2003, 2005 as well as in 2007. 

She is an active member of several professional organizations including CoreNet Global, The Urban Land Institute, where she is a full member and assistant chair of the Corporate Real Estate Council and the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.  She also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of Wisconsin School of Business and The Center for Urban Land Economics Research Board. 
 
She holds a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Ms. Chapman also holds a Master of Regional Planning from The University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Vanderbilt University.

She currently resides in New York City.
