The Executive Leadership Council (ELC) – in partnership with Exxon Mobil Corporation – hosts an annual Business Case Competition for graduate MBA and MA students. $70,000 in scholarships is awarded to the top three winning teams each year.
Since 2002, nearly 300 student teams from colleges and universities across the country – led by black team leaders with a diverse mix of members – have participated in the competition. Teams are required to analyze business cases on compelling business issues that challenge their critical thinking, analytical and communications skills.
The top three finalist teams present their work before a panel of corporate, non-profit, academic and policy leaders. The following prizes are awarded each year:
The winning team is also recognized during the ELC Annual Recognition Gala before an audience of more than 2,000 corporate, education and government leaders.
