CEO Summit 2.0

For more than a decade, the ELC has attracted more than 300 CEOs from major corporations to this one-of-a-kind forum, designed to deliver innovative approaches to diversity and inclusive leadership. Previous attendees have consistently given high ratings to this inventive program where CEOs and ELC members convene to discuss insights, best practices and tools to advance the business case for diversity.

For CEOs

This is an un-matched forum in which CEOs can tackle talent management issues within the context of complex business challenges in a confidential peer group.

The Summit offers innovative solutions and access to an enterprising network for engagement and benchmarking, as well as a resource for global talent.

For ELC Members

This is an opportunity to demonstrate thought leadership on a critical issue that over time can provide significant added value to their company’s growth and profitability.

In September 2015 The Executive Leadership Council unveiled a new white paper examining the opportunities and challenges related to diversity and inclusion at the C-suite and boardroom levels. The report, entitled “21st Century Global Leadership: Global Black Leaders Speak,” featured insights from some of the highest leaders in today’s global business world and is intended to guide organizations in leveraging diversity as a valuable asset in today’s global economy.

Regional CEO Summit

In 2014, The ELC piloted its first Regional CEO Summit. The Regional concept was designed to address the immediate needs of a dynamic, if not volatile, business climate. This format is informally known as the 2.0 version of The Summit which resulted from extensive interviews with CEOs and global business leaders.

The Regional Summits provide a valuable opportunity for CEOs to connect and further discuss experiences within the disciplines of diversity and leadership. CEOs who participated came prepared to discuss their current business challenges and share candid truths about the need for diverse leadership to drive shareholder value. The intimate setting of the Regional Summit allows for more targeted engagement and relevant discussions, with an intentional outcome of customized action plans for each attending company.
