Autumn Smith

Autumn Smith

Autumn Smith was a dual enrolled student in Pitt County Schools Early College High School and Pitt Community College with an overall GPA of 3.1. She obtained her high school diploma in May 2024 and will receive her associate in arts degree in July 2024. Autumn will start at North Carolina Central University in August 2024 as a first-year freshman, with a junior classification, and she will pursue a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Then Autumn plans to go to law school. Helping and guiding others is something Autumn enjoyed since she was young. She was a trailblazing youth football player and has volunteered for the Special Olympics in Pitt County and several community service projects through her church, Koinonia Christian Center, including the Koinonia Community Solutions Golf Tournament. She also volunteers at the Joy Soup Kitchen and the Food Bank of Eastern North Carolina. Autumn’s work experience started during the pandemic. She began working with her parents in November 2020 delivering groceries to the community part-time and she continues to deliver groceries to this day. The thing she enjoys the most about her work is helping elderly and disabled people receive their basic necessities.
