Landen McFadden is a finance major at Alabama A&M University. Initially drawn to Alabama A&M for its active campus life, reputable mechanical engineering program, and status as a Historically Black College and University (HBCU), Landen discovered a passion for finance after initially majoring in mechanical engineering. His love for building and using math and science to help the world led him to start in engineering, but he found his true calling in finance, where he could still leverage his mathematical skills to make a positive impact. Landen’s work experience includes roles as an online personal shopper at Walmart, a cook at Newk’s, a cashier at McAlister’s, and an intern stocking at AutoZone. His commitment to community service is evident through his efforts to feed teachers at various schools and assist the homeless. Additionally, he has demonstrated leadership as the captain of his bowling team. He has also earned certifications in College Career and Technology Education, NCCER 00102-09, OSHA-10, and NCCER Carpentry Level 1. Through his dedication and diverse experiences, Landen exemplifies the qualities of a driven and community-focused leader.
