ELC Member, Mohamed Kande Selected as the Next Chair of PwC Network


In a significant announcement, the Global Board of PricewaterhouseCoopers International Limited (PwCIL) announced that ELC Member Mohamed Kande will assume the role of Chair of the PwC Network, starting July 1, 2024.

In a press release, Kande was recognized as a prominent figure within the company who has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction and bolstering its advisory services. As Chair of the PwC Network, Kande is set to guide the organization through a transformative period, leveraging his expertise to propel PwC’s global operations to new heights. His leadership is expected to reinforce PwC’s commitment to delivering exceptional value to its clients and stakeholders, while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the firm.

Kande has been a member of The ELC since 2016. His recent board appointment aligns with the mission of The ELC in increasing Black talent at the c-suite and board level. The company credits Kande’s global experience, commitment to diversity and inclusion and understanding of cutting-edge technologies as the ideal Chair to guide PwC into the future.

Kande’s professional journey spans over 32 years, during which he has amassed a wealth of experience across various industries and disciplines. Holding a CPA license and an MBA from the University of Chicago, as well as an MS in electrical engineering from the University of Montreal, Kande brings a unique blend of financial acumen and technical expertise to his new role. His educational background, coupled with his extensive professional experience, positions him as an individual capable of driving innovation and navigating the complexities of the global business landscape.

Before joining PwC in August 2011, Kande was the managing partner of PRTM Management Consultants’ Europe, Middle East, and South Asia business. Prior to that leadership role, he was the managing partner of PRTM’s Global Public Sector business. Kande will serve as Chair of the PwC Network for a four-year term.
