WHAT: The Executive Leadership Council (ELC), the preeminent membership organization of Black CEOs, C-Suite and senior executives and board directors at Fortune 1000 and Global 500 companies, and entrepreneurs at top-tier firms, celebrates Black business excellence and the next generation of Black leaders at the 2021 ELC Virtual Gala.

The ELC will honor 117 ELC scholars, the organization’s largest class of Black college scholarship recipients, and the companies that support their futures. The ELC awarded $1.3M in scholarships.

WHO: Hosted by Entertainment Tonight’s’ Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner and featuring special musical performances by Bell Biv DeVoe, Doug E. Fresh and Avery*Sunshine, the evening will honor corporations, leaders, and Black college scholars. Johnson & Johnson participates as Lead Corporate Sponsor.

  • 2021 Achievement Award: Ursula Burns, first Black woman CEO in the history of the F500, serving Xerox from 2007-2016, will present the 2021 Achievement Award to the recently appointed second and third permanent Black women F500 CEOs, Rosalind Brewer, CEO, Walgreens Boots Alliance and Thasunda Brown Duckett, President & CEO, TIAA, respectively
  • 2021 Corporate Award: Bank of America, accepted by Chairman and CEO Brian Moynihan
  • 2021 Game Changer Award: Honoree to be revealed during the event
