“We want every young Black person in America to have a fair chance at business success. And so, we march!” – ELC President & CEO Michael Hyter

More than 100 industry leaders and visionaries convened in Georgia on August 10 for TIME’s “Honoring the March: An Impact Family Dinner.” This event was organized to mark the 60th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.

The Executive Leadership Council was proud to have Mr. Hyter represent our organization at this pivotal time in our history. Through the ebbs and flows, when progress seems to waver, we’re reminded of the relentless spirit of those who preceded us.

Moments such as these emphasize the importance of our mission and the need to remain focused on our commitment to amplifying Black excellence and leadership in business. Let us honor the legacy left for us by continuing our determined path forward.
