- Danielle Brown, SVP & CIO for Whirlpool Corporation, received a Distinguished Alumni Award from her alma mater Indiana Univ. of Pennsylvania.
- Jerri DeVard, CEO of the Black Executive CMO Alliance, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at The Clio Awards, often referred to as the Oscars of advertising and marketing.
- Texas Christian University (TCU) honored the late Ronald C. Parker, former The ELC President & CEO, and his wife Paula Rhodes Parker with the Royal Purple Award for their service to the university and community.
- Ed Ward, Former President – Client Product Group for Dell, received the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award from the University of Colorado – Boulder.
- Christopher Womack, Chairman, President & CEO of Southern Company, will receive the Frank C. Carr Excellence in Leadership Award from INROADS at their Annual Benefit Gala. Thasunda Brown Duckett will also serve as an honoree and provide keynote remarks.
