Members of The Executive Leadership Council continue to be recognized by their companies and in the media for their accomplishments. This issue covers information received during the second quarter of 2025.

Career Transitions

  • Todd Corley, SVP – Inclusion, Sustainability & Community for Carhartt, has an expanded role including as Chief People and Impact Officer.
  • Ndidi Oteh, Senior Managing Director – Head of Americas for Accenture Song, has been elevated to CEO for the company.
  • Anthony Williams, former SVP, Operations Strategy for MGM Resorts International, was named the CEO of Gaming company DRA.

Board & Commission Appointments

  • Thasunda Brown Duckett, President & CEO for TIAA, has become a minority owner of the reigning WNBA Champions, the New York Liberty.
  • Ken Chenault, Chairman & Managing Director for General Catalyst, was named to the board of Campus.
  • Brickson Diamond, Executive Search Consultant and DEI Advisor for Spencer Stuart, was named to the Board of Trustees for Brown University.
  • Lori George, President & CEO of CH Robinson, has been elected to the Coca-Cola Bottling Company United Board of Directors.
  • James Rosseau Sr., CEO of Holy Culture, was named to the board of the Gospel Music Association.
  • Harold Singleton III, Board Member at Fidelity Rutland Square Trust II at Fidelity Investments, was elected to the board of Directors for The Hershey Company.
  • Tracey Travis, Former EVP and CFO for The Estee Lauder Companies, was named to board of Hyatt Hotels.
  • Mary Winston, President & CEO of WinsCo Enterprises Inc., was named Chairman of the board of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).

Major Awards and Recognitions

  • Danielle Brown, SVP & CIO for Whirlpool Corporation, received a Distinguished Alumni Award from her alma mater Indiana Univ. of Pennsylvania.
  • Jerri DeVard, CEO of the Black Executive CMO Alliance, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at The Clio Awards, often referred to as the Oscars of advertising and marketing.
  • Texas Christian University (TCU) honored the late Ronald C. Parker, former The ELC President & CEO, and his wife Paula Rhodes Parker with the Royal Purple Award for their service to the university and community.
  • Ed Ward, Former President – Client Product Group for Dell, received the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award  from the University of Colorado – Boulder.
  • Christopher Womack, Chairman, President & CEO of Southern Company, will receive the Frank C. Carr Excellence in Leadership Award from INROADS at their Annual Benefit Gala.  Thasunda Brown Duckett will also serve as an honoree and provide keynote remarks.
