The ELC Index Launches in January 2024
The Executive Leadership Council (ELC) continues its bold commitment to increase the representation of Blacks in corporate America’s C-suite roles with the launch of The ELC Index in late January 2024. ELC Members can play a critical role in recruiting companies to submit data into the Index.
The ELC Index will help F500 companies measure and accelerate their journey towards racial equity, specifically among their Black employees. The Index will shed light on key organizational best practices (leading indicators) that drive representation goals for Black talent at leadership levels, including:
- HR Processes
- Inclusive Culture
- Data Maturity
The ELC Index will be an essential tool to help organizations measure their progress over time, review their strategies, identify areas of improvement, and ultimately advance racial equity in measurable ways.
Member’s support and collaboration is needed to aid the success of The Index. The Index survey will launch in late January and remain open through March. Initial findings will be shared at the Summer Member Meeting in Washington, DC.
