Adina Aaron is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in the Marshall school of business at the University of Southern California. Adina has interned at the Breakthrough Sacramento summer program as a math teacher for the past two summers. As a math teaching intern, Adina was responsible for preparing, altering, and teaching lesson plans. She would also assign and review homework assignments to ensure that all students understood and learned from each lesson. During high school, Adina participated in three 40-hour internships with Sacramento Youth Works and Breakthrough Sacramento. In these internships she gained professional experience, work skills, financial literacy knowledge, and entrepreneurship and design thinking training. Adina was recently recognized as a Deans Scholar in the Marshall School of Business due to having a GPA higher than 3.5.

Britney Acquah is pursuing a major in Cybersecurity at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Britney has a strong interest in combining her expertise in cybersecurity with her passion for law, as she aspires to specialize in copyrights, patents, and intellectual property. Britney’s academic achievements are commendable, having been accepted into Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society for two-year college students, and achieving the Dean’s List consecutively. Britney’s commitment to her academic and professional growth is evident through her impressive experiences. She recently completed an internship at the Worcester District Attorney’s office, gaining valuable insights into the legal field. These accomplishments reflect her dedication to academic excellence and her commitment to personal growth.

Adeola Adelekan attends Emory University studying Human Health with a business concentration at the College of Arts and Sciences with a co-major in Visual Arts. Adeola is interested in the public health field with a focus on healthcare and health administration. At Emory, Adeola serves as the co-president of the African Student Association where she helps manage a budget of $25,000 to $35,000 annually and serves as the Social Action Committee Chair of the Omicron Xi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated of which she is a Spring 2022 initiate. In addition to her career pursuits and extracurriculars, Adeola enjoys painting and studying Black history. She hopes to one day open a museum of her own after she has done significant work in the field of American and global healthcare.

Michael Adetunji is an information technology major enrolled at North Carolina A&T. Raised in Washington, DC, but born in Ondo, Nigeria; Michael has a deep passion for cybersecurity and is determined to make a difference in this critical field. As a member of the University’s Honors Program, he is committed to academic excellence and continuous growth. Michael’s primary focus after completing his undergraduate degree is to embark on a career in cybersecurity, where he can utilize his knowledge and skills to develop innovative solutions that protect individuals and organizations from cyber-attacks. In his free time, Michael finds relaxation and joy in playing the piano, which not only provides him with a creative outlet but also cultivates his appreciation for music. Additionally, he enjoys spending time with friends and indulging in binge-watching sessions on Netflix, which serve as a way to unwind and recharge.
