Malik Ducard is Chief Content Officer at Pinterest and a member of The ELC. He joined Pinterest in 2021 as the company’s first Chief Content Officer, leading content strategy, creator vision, and relationships with the creator community.

Before Pinterest, Malik spent more than a decade at YouTube, where he held senior leadership roles across content partnerships, learning, social impact, kids and family, health, and human rights and racial justice. He also helped create the $100 million #YouTubeBlack Voices Fund.

Earlier in his career, Malik worked across entertainment, including roles at MGM, Lionsgate, and Paramount. His career has consistently sat at the intersection of creativity, technology, content, culture, and audience behavior.

He is also the author of the children’s book Henry’s Big Win, winner of the 2015 Jessie Redmon Fauset Award for Best Children’s Book.
