Fabian Milburn is a senior business operations executive who currently serves as Chief Legal & Human Resources Officer of The Executive Leadership Council, recognized as the leading global organization for Black executives who seek to positively impact businesses and communities through its development, leadership and philanthropic programs. Prior to his current role, Mr. Milburn served as Chief of Staff & Chief Legal Officer for the Brooklyn Museum, the cultural institution known for its use of art as a medium to foster courageous conversations that focus on social issues which impact society on a global scale. Mr. Milburn has also served as Chief Operating Officer and was a member of the launch team for Zeitgeist Reach, a technology and content start-up created to address the need to train and upskill today’s modern workforce. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for Zeitgeist Reach.

Mr. Milburn is also recognized for his global accomplishments in the media sector. He was a member of the senior management team tasked with the sale and subsequent integration of Oxygen Media into the NBC Universal portfolio of cable properties and was also a senior advisor to the CEO of TV Guide Magazine following its spin-off from Gemstar, responsible for designing the model to restructure all operations of the business.

Mr. Milburn led the Warner Bros. business affairs team responsible for oversight of the studio’s marquee franchises including the #1 daytime talk show “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” as well as “TMZ.” In his role with Warner Bros., Mr. Milburn had budget oversight of all Warner Bros. originally produced syndicated productions and managed a team of twenty executives who were responsible for producing Warner Bros. syndicated programming. Mr. Milburn is credited with creating the business model to develop, incubate, and distribute the studio’s original short-form digital content as long-form programming.

Mr. Milburn’s successes at Amazon’s Audible division included the launch of “Audible Originals,” which focuses on the development and production of exclusive original audio content. He was responsible for creating the guardrails for the division’s deal-making and production budgeting process and additionally served as the senior business advisor and global deal negotiator for Audible’s international offices.

Mr. Milburn received his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University and is a graduate of The Washington College of Law at The American University. He has served two terms as a board member of The Pennsylvania State University College of Liberal Arts Alumni Society and is an advisor to Penn State’s Piazza Center which focuses on best practices for responsible Greek life on the nation’s college campuses. Mr. Milburn is a board member of the Viola E. Milburn Bridging the Gap Foundation and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
